Tax prep today. A first (for us): we only brought digital records. Then, we celebrated over brunch at Wise Acre Eatery.

Went to REI Co-op today to buy quick-drying socks. I showed amazing restraint: I only bought socks.

It’s for the corks. The weapons of mass destruction I’ll build with my nephews need corks. Screw-caps don’t work!

Worked much of the day–I occasionally do small amounts of work for existing clients. A calmer day than yesterday.

Spent the day designing and building marble roller-coasters with these guys. This one went down through 2 floors.

Lunch special at Tao Natural Foods before walk to Minneapolis Central Library. Picked up repaired watch on walk home.

This morning, spent 6.24 at Home Depot for enough pipe insulation to build a big, bad 72-foot marble roller-coaster.

Fire on ice tonight. The Minneapolis Loppet on Lake of the Isles.

Today, great conversation with long-time friend at Egg and I. I’ll miss our lunches when she moves to Atlanta.
