Planned an old-fashioned afternoon tea in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, for family and friends.

Porch, Memorial Day.

Plumbed-in pots. Drippers and driplines make it easier to travel.

Tonight: dinner with friends at the Surly Brewery. We enjoyed their pleasant, quiet restaurant upstairs.

Rainy day, a good day to spend our 2015 dividend at REI Co-op.

Our cycling explorations of interesting St. Paul homes included the F. Scott Fitzgerald House.

Cycled with a friend visiting from UK. Lunch at the 1029 Bra, I mean Bar. The banner honors fallen peace officers.

Power lines and contraiIs through bug-splattered windshield. Interstate 94, Fargo to Minneapolis.

Crossed the Red River of the North from Moorhead, MN to Fargo, ND. The river flows north to Canada.

Noticed new lawn signs in our neighborhood. Only 6 months until the election.
