On a hot urban hike, chilled out in the super-cool Walker Art Center.

Walked to Uptown for lunch and grocery shopping. It feels good to be doing mundane, everyday stuff.

Read a novel on my antique Kindle 2.

Set up a TiVo for over-the-air and streaming. (We don’t have cable or satellite.) The old one died after nine years.

Today, The Google reminded me of my foraging expedition to Ax-Man Surplus in St. Paul’s Midway on this date in 2014.

Beans with dinner tonight. I planted the seeds at the end of May.

A friend dropped by with goodies she’d made, including a wonderful pie. Chocolate on the lower crust, life’s good.

Walked out, less than 24 hours after surgery. I’ll be back, though: surgical margins were not quite clear of tumor.

Explored the unfamiliar:–North Minneapolis trails–Lunch, Betty Danger’s Country Club (I didn’t ride the Ferris).

Cycled to St. Paul.
