Koke’e State Park Hike
Our hike in Koke’e State Park started with this view of the Napali Coast. We hiked backcountry trails where most of the vegetation is still native. Towards the end it rained, and we hit mud. Hot showers, the washer and dryer, and Dwight’s boot-cleaning skills.
Nu’alolo Trail
Hiked the Nu’alolo Trail, Koke’e State Park.
Ishihara House
Sat on the lanai of our second Kauai VRBO, the Ishihara House, looking at the foothills of Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” The house is plantation-style, with a 1930’s old-Hawaii vibe and nods to Japan. And it’s less expensive than most rentals.
