Walked across Downtown through the skyway system, doing my errands, avoiding the rain.

Installed a bike rack on our Fit.

View, first night in our temporary home for the next 18 months: all moved in.

Moved essential supplies to our new, temporary home in the Minneapolis Mill District. We move in tomorrow.

After a morning of manual labor, we revived ourselves with udon, bibimbap, and local brew Sweet Child of Vine.

Cycled with a friend in search of bronze statues. Spotted an appropriately ghostly Mary Tyler Moore, trapped indoors, still tossing her tam.

At the end of our cycle ride, picked up essential supplies at our local liquor store: first time on a Sunday, thanks to a change in the law.

Cycled across a bridge across a gorge near Hastings, Minnesota. Stopped to view a waterfall, an abandoned mill, and tinges of Fall colors.

Replaced our expensive-to-maintain 2003 BMW 3 Series with a cheaper, better car: a 2017 Honda Fit. Our 1996 Honda Civic still runs great.

Attacked my favorite cake with a knife. Marzipan, sponge, raspberry jam, whipped cream, almond flakes: life’s good.
