Explored the University of Minnesota’s East and West Bank (of the Mississippi) campuses with a friend. Walked into buildings that promised to be interesting. In the School of Architecture earnest students were having their work reviewed by their peers.

Walked to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and beyond. Without Words.

Looked between railroad hopper cars. Meticulously sprayed graffiti contributed a splash of blue.

Bought produce for Thanksgiving, grown by Hmong American farmers, at our neighborhood Mill City Farmers Market.
Minnesota Orchestra
Walked to Orchestra Hall to hear the Minnesota Orchestra.
Butter and Flour
Began stocking up on ingredients for Thanksgiving, starting with the important stuff: flour and butter for pie crusts.
Quarterly Shot
Got my quarterly Lupron shot at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center. It looks like something you’d find at Home Depot. It’s working: tumor continues to be undetectable (dormant).
Wartime Presidents
Listened to Michael Beschloss, presidential historian, talking to a packed lunchtime Westminster Town Hall Forum about wartime presidents. He reminded us how presidents have started wars on a false pretext, and without the congressional approval required
