Posted 9 Things I Did Around San Diego.

It was more like October when I ran round Lake of the Isles today. The cold and wind nicely mitigated my medication-induced hot flashes.

Walked through Balboa Park. Had my nephews been with me, I would have insisted we all ride this train whether they wanted to or not.

Trail, track, and pier converged at San Clemente.

Rode Amtrak to Oceanview, California. Walked the 1888 wooden pier before continuing to San Clemente for the night.

Rode the San Diego Blue Line to the end of the trolley/LRT line at the US/Mexico border. I collect ends of lines.

Walked past the USS Midway on our way to the ferry to go cycling on Catalina. The Midway was commissioned 1945; it served in Desert Storm.

It’s morning, we’re at MSP, it’s time for the obligatory bloody Mary.

We cycled to the very source of St. Paul’s water supply

I was early for a meeting, so I popped in here for an Americano. Minneapolis has the largest urban American Indian community in the country.

A sign had sprouted in our front yard while we were out for dinner.

Cycled through humidity the long way round to Longfellow Grill for air conditioning and chilly Steel Toe Size Sevens.

Martin Sabo Bridge through a $10 clip-on fisheye lens. Reduced distortion with the SKRWT app then created ersatz art with the Prisma app.

Cycled through miles of wildflower meadows on a new section of the Mississippi River Trail, south of the Twin Cities.
