Favorite Loop
We cycled our favorite loop: Minneapolis Chain of Lakes, Minnehaha Creek, Mississippi, Cedar Lake Trail.
Worldly Goods
Much of our worldly goods were marched into a Salvation Army truck.
Bowling with the Boys
We took the nephews to a bowling alley until it stopped raining. I’ve never bowled, which did not stop me from offering advice.
Glocal IPA
After a “Glocal” IPA at a new near-neighbor, Utepils Brewing, we cycled over to nearby Sparks Restaurant for totally excellent small plates.
Our House, Sold
A “sold” sign announced we are short-timers in our home.
Birth of a Mural
Artists were creating a mural as I cycled the Midtown Greenway.
Defending Seoul
Posted Defending Seoul.
Letting Go of Patio Furniture
Let go of most of our patio and sunroom furniture; retained many happy memories; gained mental and physical space to create new memories.
Regaining Mojo
Paused our cycle ride at the California Building, Nordeast, to get back our mojo. The former industrial building houses artists’ studios.
Amazing Self-Control
Walked past Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream Cafe without popping in for a scoop.
Cycling under a Solar Array
Cycled under a three-million-watt solar array at MSP Terminal 2.
Keeping it at Bay
Back at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center today. A tumor marker test is evidence ADT drug therapy is working for the time-being. I’m grateful.
The 1029 Bar
Cycled to The 1029 in Nordeast Minneapolis for Sunday lunch: their famous lobster rolls, and Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA.
Temporary Apartment
Leased this view (Gold Medal Park, Guthrie Theater, Mississippi). We’ll stay here through early 2019 until our condo is ready. I’m grateful.
