Explored the Keys around Islamorada by boat. Our nephews (and their dad, and Dwight) braved the chilly 73°F water to explore a reef.

The pelican with the POTUS “comb-over” waited patiently while our nephews reeled in then released its lunch.

An emergency splinterectomy was performed. The patient is doing well but has been advised not to associate too closely with palm trees.

Landed at FLL, Fort Lauderdale, on our way to the Florida Keys with our nephews and their parents.

Hearts prevailed as we walked under Interstate 94 in St. Paul’s Union Park neighborhood. Other graffiti expanded the message: (heart symbol) > $

Walked next door to Izzy’s to experience the restorative power of ice cream.

Continued invading lobbies with a friend. Walked along Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis, testing interesting-looking doors. If a door opened, we walked in. This 60-foot media wall at the Baker Center played to an audience of two.

Looked out the window of a basement classroom.

Posted An Incoming Snowstorm.

Splurged a total of $1 (senior fare) on two trains and a bus as I raced to do errands ahead of the promised 8 to 12 inches of snow.

Startled birds took to the air as I walked along Downtown’s Nicollet Mall on a Sunday morning.

Went to a party in a house that has thirty pinball machines.

Looked for stuff I didn’t realize I didn’t need at Ax-Man Surplus.

Looked through tinted windows after picking up tickets at the Guthrie Theater.
