Cycled through a former heavy engineering space… because it’s there, and because I could. Made a mental note to add “gantry crane” to my LEGO Mindstorms to-build list. I did that as a kid, I do that now.

Cycled random alleys, found a treehouse.

Didn’t have to walk far for a medical appointment.

Hot-soaked a large pot of dried beans as it towered above our Beano supply. I’ll freeze most of the beans.

All set for Saturday movie night. The beer and ice cream are made within a couple blocks of our home.

On my cycle ride: northeast Minneapolis industrial profiles.

Explored North Minneapolis by bicycle using a map I’d plotted showing points of interest. This building became an orphanage in January 1919. Some of the first children to stay here had lost both parents in the ‘flu pandemic.

On our cycle ride, stopped at a temporary Walgreens pharmacy to fill a prescription. The adjacent store was damaged during the recent civil unrest and has yet to reopen.

Drippy day. A perfect day to resolve product issues with vendors.
