Homemade Holiday Lights

Soldered LEDs, resistors, and wires. Next week, we’ll use these lights to build Christmas ornaments with our nephews.

My favorite holiday: cook, chat, eat, no gifts, be grateful.

It’s going to be a white Thanksgiving.

Walked to Lunds, downtown Minneapolis, and made my annual mincemeat purchase.

Ready for Monday’s snow storm.

I’ll keep cycling until the snow falls.

10:20 a.m. Consumed first Halloween candy. The rest of the day will be a test of willpower.

Fall colors persist in our back yard.

Rain stopped, sun shone, I shot out into yard to replace soil in a wall planter for tomatoes. It’s too soon to plant.

Today we loaded up with annuals. It’s too soon/cold to plant outside, but we can prepare pots and baskets inside.
