Radiation: Day 1 of 39

Today is day 1 of 39 with this rotating around me. It delivers radiation (linear accelerator) and performs 3D imaging (CT). I’m grateful.

Lazy Sunday: local brew (Fulton Sweet Child of Vine) and pizza.

Started planning one of next year’s hikes.

Today is the official start of our Holiday Leftovers Season. I reincarnated root vegetable mash as “panko-encrusted croquettes.”

Departed from tradition: cooked a goose on the Weber.

Cedar Lake, on my walk today: dock, brief freedom until trapped by ice.

Walked out to our neighborhood restaurant, The Kenwood, to liaise with my better half on his way home from work.

Assembled an application for a new passport. My current passport doesn’t have the six blank visa pages I need for my next trip.

Yesterday’s first snowfall inspired me to hang holiday lights today. We won’t switch them on until after Thanksgiving.
