Baby Turnips

Finally, fresh Minnesota-grown produce. I’ll make this favorite dish with a bunch of these.

Holiday weekend at home. Cycled a loop: Chain of Lakes and Mississippi. Now, slow-cooking ribs on our old Weber.

Bike and lawn mower hang out together in the garage while I drive off to an office to design databases.

All day today the rain is bouncing off the ground. A good day to be inside, planning and reading.

Drippy day. A good day to write about one-time password generators.

Went to the harbor to buy fish to cook this evening.

Tax prep today. A first (for us): we only brought digital records. Then, we celebrated over brunch at Wise Acre Eatery.

Walked to Wedge Coop. Not de rigueur, but I enjoy food shopping. Friendly, good eats, no buyer’s remorse, SkyMiles.

We both love soup (a hilarious line from “Best in Show) so we’re attending a winter soup (demonstration) cooking class this evening

Hacked garage door opener controller board. The heavy duty soldering iron didn’t fry the board, and the hack worked.
