It’s Slippery Out There

It is slippery out there: fell backwards, blanked out, got a concussion, felt really punk. I’m now back home, grateful for the lovely people at Methodist Hospital. This time next year we plan to be far away, in a Southern Hemisphere summer.

Got sewn back together after an incident involving an electric drill. The staff at Urgent Care were lovely, and I had a nice lie down.

Stress then Contentment

On this chilly day, made my quarterly visit to the cancer center. Afterwards, I headed to our local Japanese eatery. Contentment prevailed as I slurped tonkotsu ramen. As I finished, my nurse phoned to let me know tumor continues to be undetectable. Reprieved for another quarter.
