Crossing a Work Zone

For the second time this week the trail was blocked by construction. I was planning a lengthy detour, when a member of the crew came up to me and cheerfully led me through the work site. He was grateful today’s high would be in the 80’s and not the 100’s.

Quarterly Topup

Walked on fresh snow to the bus to the Frauenshuh Cancer Center for my quarterly topup (injection). The tumor continues to be dormant. I’m grateful.

Quarterly Lupron

Cycled to Methodist Hospital for my quarterly injection to suppress tumor. For now it’s working well, tumor is undetectable. I’m grateful.

Keeping it at Bay

Back at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center today. A tumor marker test is evidence ADT drug therapy is working for the time-being. I’m grateful.

Temporary Apartment

Leased this view (Gold Medal Park, Guthrie Theater, Mississippi). We’ll stay here through early 2019 until our condo is ready. I’m grateful.

Our Family

Cycled home from Downtown today, past this graffiti. Felt grateful Medicaid kicked in when my father-in-law needed it most.
