Looked out the window while making coffee this morning.

10:20 a.m. Consumed first Halloween candy. The rest of the day will be a test of willpower.

Dropped car off for a service in a bland place. Rode the bus to multi-layered Minneapolis. (Behind downtown Lunds.)

Freewheel had everything I could possibly want:nCoffee, Ginger and green tea muffin, Tire-Mechanic to install tire

Cycled past prairie grasses.

On today’s final North Shore hike, we looked down on the Manitou River, churning its way towards Lake Superior.

Superior Trail today: watched beavers extending their lodge. One told us to go away by bashing its tail on the water.

This afternoon, walked a short section of the Superior Hiking Trail (at Oberg Mountain).

Today I’m a couch potato/cold sufferer: blame it on travel. Still, I’m grateful for travel, grateful it’s only a cold.
