Drippy day. A good day to write about one-time password generators.

On my cycle ride today: new Minneapolis. Training for new light rail line, construction cranes for new stadium.

Took my my 5-year-old nephew geocaching. He’s one little pro with a GPS. We found 5 out of 7 geocaches.

Had to find another perch for my bicycle: needed the car to pick up garden stuff. First time in the car in over 2 months.

Lake Calhoun today. Walked lakes Harriet, Calhoun, and Isles. Everyone was so happy to be out in the warm sun.

Today, researched trips.

Looked at Edward Hopper’s paintings alongside the sketches he produced during the creative process. Walker Art Center.

Slushy walk to a warm place, Egg and I, for brunch with a friend.

Walked in snow to buy ingredients for a Thai dish for dinner. I can travel via food to Thailand, a place with no snow.

Checkup today, all OK. Thanks to Obamacare, I have better, cheaper coverage.

On this morning’s run round Lake of the Isles: ice receding, still traces of Minneapolis Loppet’s Ice-Henge.

Took down holiday lights. Power cords were frozen, in place, when I left in February.

Checked my gear. I bought this shoe in February. My hiking boots fared better.

I’ve been flying long-hauls for almost 40 years. It’s still magical.

Depart NRT Friday 3:30 p.m. Arrive MSP Friday 1:00 p.m., 11-1/2 hours later.
