A Walk Through Nordeast Minneapolis

Had to drive today to avoid lightning. So, I wrote about a walk through Northeast Minneapolis.

3 concerts in 5 days. Today, concert #2: Cantus vocal ensemble at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, Minneapolis.

At dinner the nephews took my phone and Dwight’s phone. That assured us a good conversation with their parents.

3 concerts in 5 days. Today, concert #1: Minnesota Orchestra at Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis.

Went to a bricks-and-mortar store.

Cycled through the grittier side of Minneapolis. It was good to be on a cycle path, and not on a freeway.

Rode light rail to Fort Snelling, then cycled both sides of the Mississippi via St. Paul.

Walked to Bombay… …Bistro, downtown Minneapolis for lunch with two former colleagues.

Built this transmission: 3-speed, stick-shift, clutch. I built it for myself but I will demonstrate it to my nephews.

Got up early to book flights from southern Japan when they opened up today. Round-trip: 70,000 frequent flyer miles.
