We abandoned all fiscal responsibility: replaced bowls (cracked) and a peppermill (failed mechanism) I’ve been using since I was a student.
1929 Reflections
Looked at a reflection of the Foshay Tower from the open-air observation deck at the top of the Foshay Tower. It was completed in 1929.
Massive Door
I walked through this massive door and got on with my day. Seven radiation therapy sessions literally under my belt, thirty-two to go.
Eclairs
Bought eclairs for my better half’s birthday. In June we devoured a box of eclairs with our nephews, seated on the steps of York Minster.

Oven-Dried Tomatoes
Two weeks ago I picked tomatoes off the vine in our garden then allowed them to ripen. Today I dried them slowly in the oven.
