Stood on a park bench at the highest point in Minneapolis, Deming Heights Park.
Sacred Water
“Discovered” Cold Water Spring which supplied Fort Snelling and is considered to be sacred by some Native Americans. The National Park Service administers the spring and surrounding restored prairie.
Aquatennial Fireworks
The Minneapolis Aquatennial put on a rather fine fireworks display which we viewed from our balcony.
