Hmong Farmers

Bought produce for Thanksgiving, grown by Hmong American farmers, at our neighborhood Mill City Farmers Market.

Butter and Flour

Began stocking up on ingredients for Thanksgiving, starting with the important stuff: flour and butter for pie crusts.

Quarterly Shot

Got my quarterly Lupron shot at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center. It looks like something you’d find at Home Depot. It’s working: tumor continues to be undetectable (dormant).

Listened to Michael Beschloss, presidential historian, talking to a packed lunchtime Westminster Town Hall Forum about wartime presidents. He reminded us how presidents have started wars on a false pretext, and without the congressional approval required
