Eero and Eliel Saarinen in Minneapolis

Cycled to Christ Church Lutheran, completed 1949, hidden in a South Minneapolis residential neighborhood. The church members had opted for a Gothic structure, but fortunately a new pastor signed up Eliel Saarinen. In 1962, even more famous son, Eero, supervised an extension.

The Elusive Growler

Included several breweries in our cycle ride, hoping to procure a growler. The serving window at Indeed Brewing Company was open, but, like all the other breweries, they would not be serving until later. Hop forward will have to wait for another day.

A Good Day For Plumbing

Spent the morning streamlining our houseplant irrigation system. (This is the “after” picture.) Rain and lightning made it a good day for plumbing.
