Visualizing International Travel
Deserted airport concourse, March 25, 2020: the last time we set foot in an airport. It’s over a year since I last set foot in an airport. Now, thanks to the miracle of Covid vaccines, I can allow my mind to drift towards thoughts of international travel. I was hoping I’d had a mild version…… Continue reading Visualizing International Travel
Japan 2022
I’m in high gear planning travel. Made the first reservation for a summer 2022 backpacking trip to Japan with our nephews (they’ll be 12 and 13) and their dad. We’ll explore less popular, more remote areas. On the way home, we’ll spend time in Hawaii where their mom will join us.

The Minneapolis Guthrie Theater’s artistic director, Joseph…… Continue reading 12 Months of Microposts: 2020
Happiness
Cycled over to SiP Coffeebar to pick up a coffee, then sit on a wall overlooking a yard where a sculptor creates. I always chuckle at the Happiness art piece. Ostensibly, this is the “happiest time of the year.” This year we can simply be grateful for what we have.
