Our yard this morning, still snowing: definitely a white Christmas. We went for a run on the fresh snow.

My walk home this afternoon after unplanned Beer with Bob–in town from Oregon. I miss our after-work conversations.

Finally took down the Thanksgiving decorations.

The object of the game was to get as *few* marbles as possible. The boys preferred the game otherwise.

Guilty pleasure with lunch today. Just don’t tell anybody I have this hidden in the freezer.

Weeded last year’s spices to throw or use soon. Time to make Clove/Allspice/Fennel/Caraway Surprise (meat loaf).

Plugged Google Chromecast into the television. Now it’s remarkably easy to choose a show. And only $30, shipped.

Today, wrote about islands off islands–respite from winter.

Today, Dwight made excellent mince pies. Crust from scratch, filling courtesy of Messrs Crosse and Blackwell.

Downsizing today. I was attaching the sign when a lady asked if she could have the tree. We loaded her car, giggling.

This morning’s walk: silent bell at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Bells at the nearby Basilica were not silent.
