Windmills greeted us at the top of our hike.

After the sun set, we sat on the beach, sipped beer from plastic cups, and watched the ever-changing sky over the island of Molokai.

Sea turtles had the right of way on my beach walk today.

Walked past dozens of outrigger canoes. They’re owned by local clubs and are a popular after-work activity.

My walk today had a point: find mouse doors. I found three.

Looked at 24 bronze sculptures of old Marcy Holmes neighborhood buildings. We then found some of the buildings that are still standing.

Walked home on fresh snow in daylight after a touching movie and dinner: the first day of Daylight Savings Time.

Photographed circuit breakers: if there’s heavy snow while we’re traveling, we’ll get these turned on to prevent ice dams on our old house.

Assembled ingredients from Scotland, Mexico, and Wisconsin for a fast cook/fast cleanup dinner: everything will roast on a baking tray.
