Started gathering gear for an upcoming trip to Europe. All expense was spared on the SIM removal tools.

Filling a Toothpaste Tube

Started evaluating refillable toothpaste tubes. We generally travel with just carry-ons, so we end up buying small tubes of toothpaste to meet TSA requirements. Refillable tubes seem less wasteful, and the adapter makes it a breeze to transfer our regular toothpaste.

Planespotting

For dinner we shared a surprisingly good charcuterie plate in a San Francisco airport hotel bar. Originally, we’d also planned to order a tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet) sandwich, but a couple cookies to take back to our room seemed plenty. We’d decided a red-eye to Minneapolis did not appeal. Finding Excitement

Rode the tram at MSP to the LRT. When they were young, we’d take our nephews for rides on the tram. There’s a jog in the middle, which is always exciting if you’re not holding on tight. Truth is, I had as much fun as my nephews (maybe more).
