Woke up to an appropriately snowy Christmas Eve. With subzero temperatures it was a good day to stay indoors.

Happiness
Cycled over to SiP Coffeebar to pick up a coffee, then sit on a wall overlooking a yard where a sculptor creates. I always chuckle at the Happiness art piece. Ostensibly, this is the “happiest time of the year.” This year we can simply be grateful for what we have.
Unsolicited Gifts
Reviewed our unsolicited holiday gift collection: a “gifting set” from The LEGO Company (wrapping paper, card, stickers, etc.), a face mask from our state representative, and plastic champagne flutes from the Minnesota Orchestra (to be used during their New Year’s Eve broadcast).
Early Christmas
On my bike ride with a friend, a preview of things to come.
Until Next Year
Tonight is 12th Night. Our Christmas tree waits to go to our “basement”—a storage cage two floors down.
What, No Christmas Album?
Asked The Google to play Cher’s Christmas album. Shocked to learn there isn’t one, so I signed a petition at change.org.
Deadfall Minnesota Cherrywood
Deadfall Minnesota cherrywood (our Christmas tree) never looked finer. The angel is a little the worse for wear.
Time to Decorate
Yesterday Dwight made mince pies. Today we decorated.
Two Floors Down
Walked down two floors to our storage cage (where we keep seasonal stuff).
Christmas Food, UK-Style
Enjoyed Christmas pudding, ice cream, and whipped cream. Later we had Christmas cake which a friend made in the UK and managed to get through customs.
