When Ice Cream Isn’t Enough

My distaste for long lines exceeds my taste for ice cream. I kept walking.

Walked down a street in our neighborhood I’ve never walked down before. It was a short street.

Took my new walking shoes on their inaugural urban hike.

Walked past a stock exterior for a 1970’s sitcom shot in Los Angeles. The Mary Tyler Moore house, on sale yet again.

Walked along Minnehaha Creek. I didn’t miss my bicycle on this eroded trail.

The drippy weather meant I didn’t have to wait in line for a scoop of Moose Lake Fudge at Lake Calhoun’s refectory.

Two friends and I raised the average age of the audience at a Bakken Trio concert at the local community center.

Walked past the Pillsbury A. In 1881 it was the world’s largest flour mill. It’s now artists’ lofts.

After some aggressive gardening, it was time to recuperate with a Brr Bar at Sebastian Joe’s.
