The Best Croissants

Continued exploring University Avenue with a friend. Visited a modest Vietnamese bakery for one of the best almond croissants ever. I was experiencing a consequence of a convoluted path from French colonialism to skilled Vietnamese refugees and their offspring.

Change of Plan

Airside at MSP. Learned our connecting flight was delayed, and wouldn’t arrive at our destination until almost midnight Pacific. Changed the flights at no cost via the Delta app to tomorrow morning, then rode the LRT back home.

Specialized Businesses

Walked along University Avenue, a road from Minneapolis to St. Paul, looking at old buildings and specialized businesses. Spotted a reptile store, a bartending school, and a cat furniture showroom. The former Mutual Service Insurance building in the reflection was built in 1956.
