Constructing Construction Kits

Assembled 2 LEGO construction kits including instructions for the nephews. They helped design the car last weekend.

This weekend I’ve been doing my best to be in loco parentis. We had a blast.

Scooting down the spiral path at Gold Medal Park, this afternoon. Everywhere he scooted, people smiled.

Green Mill pizzas for impromptu family gathering, including 2 birthday boys (one 5 one 50), and a surprise guest.

Gabbed all morning over coffee and croissants.

Went to church… to vote. 35 candidates for Minneapolis mayor, ranked-choice voting. Made and ranked my 3 choices.

My attempt to make Play-Doh educational for a 4-year-old and to explain when the bro arrives off the school bus.

My bike buddy today. I’m in awe of this little guy: he first rode a bicycle without training wheels when he was 2.

Lunch, today with a good friend at Egg and I. She and I have been getting together every other week for decades.
