Pacing the Halls
I’ve paced the halls of Methodist Hospital daily for two months. Nothing would function without recent immigrants, constantly cleaning.
Google Thinks I Work Here
Google has decided I work at Methodist Hospital because I go there every weekday. Eight more days and I “retire” from radiation therapy.
Muffin Man
Muffin Man at Methodist Hospital bakes the best muffins right on the premises. I succumbed to a frosted carrot cake muffin and a cappuccino.
Pre-Radiation Walk
Walked the halls of Methodist Hospital past conference rooms. I’m grateful I’m not in there staring at PowerPoint slides.
Massive Door
I walked through this massive door and got on with my day. Seven radiation therapy sessions literally under my belt, thirty-two to go.
Radiation: Day 1 of 39
Today is day 1 of 39 with this rotating around me. It delivers radiation (linear accelerator) and performs 3D imaging (CT). I’m grateful.
Didn’t Want to Stop Walking
Killed time in wetlands opposite Methodist Hospital before an appointment. Afterwards I walked and walked and didn’t want to stop walking.
Chugging for a CT Scan
Chugged down two containers of contrast material prior to a CT scan.
Breast Cancer Awareness
Walked into the Frauenshuh Cancer Center twice today. Yes, the fountain is pink.
