Convenient Ice Cream

It’s a little too convenient living one block from an excellent ice cream store. “Existential Crunch” (dark brown sugar, Jameson whiskey, creme fraiche, praline pecan, and cashew brittle) topped with a small scoop of “Umeshu Chocolate” (dark chocolate and Japanese plum wine).

Local Splurge-Eats

Bacon brats from the farmers market for dinner. Ice cream from Izzy’s later. Local splurge-eats.

Ramen During a Storm

The video screen showed stunning rainfall on the island of Kyushu, southern Japan, a place I love, while I quietly slurped ramen.

Bimbo

Our nephews enjoy this for breakfast, white bread with no crust. The product name hurts my eyes.

Salty Tart

Joined the line at Salty Tart, Mill City Farmers Market.

Chocolate Caramel Superstar, Et Al.

Bought a little something for an intermission in the movie we’ll rent tonight. It’s just a little too convenient having Izzy’s ice cream factory on the next block. I’ll pedal harder tomorrow.
