Waited for a friend at Minnehaha Falls. Groups of people were peering over the edge, taking the obligatory photographs. With the Falls going full blast, I couldn’t resist taking my own.

Genuine Waterfall
On our cycle ride: yesterday’s heavy rain at Minnehaha Falls. A couple days ago it had run dry because of the drought. It dried up in another drought in 1964 before a visit by President Johnson. Out of sight, the city opened many fire hydrants upstream, draining into the creek.

Recent heavy rain explained the bike path along Minnehaha Creek being flooded in several places, and the Falls going full throttle.
