Dwight found a wallet lying in the street containing 22 cards. There was no phone number or email address inside. (Note to self: add phone number and email address to my wallet.) Found phone numbers online and sent each a text asking the recipient to describe what they had lost. So far, no taker.
Next day, there was still no taker. I put it in a Ziploc bag then dropped it in a mail box at the Downtown Central Post Office. The USPS will return it to the owner, postage due; the Driver’s License has a full street address. The wallet also carried unsigned credit cards, a Global Entry card, and a passport card.

Eventually I did connect with the owner, and the USPS delivered the wallet. A happy ending.
