Cycled to Lake Minnetonka with a friend from the UK. Enjoyed this view while we recovered with beer and bar food.

Successful Sunday: kids, bikes on trails, bikes on a train, ice cream, 2 playgrounds, only one band-aid.

Everything is growing fast in the garden, so I did some weeding before it got too hot today.

Rode Green Line LRT to downtown St. Paul, then cycled back to Minneapolis in time for lunch with a friend.

Walked round Lake of the Isles during a pause in today’s storm. Minneapolis, City of (overflowing) Lakes.

Rode bus to the library: I would’ve been late if I had walked. (This micro-blog celebrates little daily activities!)

Word of the day: Bucolic. Cycled the Douglas Trail: Pine Island to North Rochester and back. We earned our Blizzards.

This morning, I was tweaking my LEGO derailleur, v1.0, when the sun came out, and the power went out. Time for a run.

The rain set in for the day at the end of my run: a good reason to stay inside and build a derailleur with LEGO.

Cycled to a business meeting with Allina Health in a repurposed Sears department store.

Spent morning at Minneapolis Central Library discussing, among other things, Microsoft Access. Walked there and back.
