Spent the morning gardening among happy flowers, and unhappy weeds.

Run, cycle, lunch. Later, friend arrives, grill burgers. 7 p.m. this modest firework show. Plenty excitement.

Cycled N. Minneapolis with a UK friend. Enjoyed Surly and tater tots at Psycho Suzi’s where tiki meets Mississippi.
A Fine Atrium
Walked under a grey sky to the downtown library. The sun then came out and looked rather fine in the atrium.

Let the Rain Go Away
Got out the car, ignored the rain, started cycling the Gateway Trail. The rain then ignored us, and the sun came out.

Breakfast at Lake Harriet, then onwards to overflowing Minnehaha Creek.
Being An Uncle
Lego, breakfast, cycle, ice cream, Lego, Dad arrives to whisk them home, cup of tea, nap. It’s good being an uncle.
Adventures With Our Nephews
Stormy night, a fun night to have the nephews for a sleepover. Earlier we went to Minnehaha Falls by bike and train.

Circuitous cycle route based on whim, flood, an area cordoned off for the Prez, and time to meet a friend at Egg & I.
Ticket to See the President
Took bus from library to Lake Harriet to pick up my ticket. The bandshell was being pressure-washed for the Prez.
Sunrise Cyclery
Cycled past Sunrise Cyclery this morning. Their mural reminded me I’m cycling with my nephews this afternoon.
