Went for a walk.

On my rainy North Cedar Lake Trail walk today: nest box, ready for occupation by bluebirds or swallows in March.

Mince pies awaiting tops.

Today the executioners came for our beloved, but diseased apple tree.

Walked with a friend: Minneapolis, both sides of the Mississippi, plus close encounter with a grain train.

Urban hike in falling snow: 10-mile loop following railroads all the way. Some “No Trespassing” signs were ignored.

Misty walk with a friend round Lake Nokomis. We made it before the rain started in earnest.

Ice fishing houses, Forest Lake, gray day. I was enjoying a peaceful walk while the nephews were at school.

Spotted these knitted tree warmers at French Meadow. I warmed up inside with Cajun hash browns.

On my run round the lake, today…

Soldered LEDs, resistors, and wires. Next week, we’ll use these lights to build Christmas ornaments with our nephews.
