Target Corp. Mascot
Waited for a friend beside Target Corporation’s Bullseye mascot. My friend arrived on the first post-rush-hour (75 cent senior fare) train.
Casket Arts
Cycled past some of my favorite Nordeast Minneapolis buildings, including the Casket Arts Building. Artists now occupy this building.
Ready for a Buyer
Tidied my man cave (formerly my office) to an unnatural degree. We’re ready for a buyer for this and the rest of our home.
Flower Towers Showing Off
Our flower towers demanded our attention.
Pornowolves And Other Mysteries
Reviewed the community notice board outside our local co-op. Reflected on how I’ve lived this long without Pornowolves or a hand-blown bong.
No Longer Valuable
Rolled a binful of Kodak Carousels containing 35mm slides down to the street. My father-in-law scanned all the slides a few years ago.
You Can’t Always Get What You Want
Posted You Can’t Always Get What You Want.
Bridge Under Bridge
Cycled beside the Mississippi to downtown St. Paul.
Steamed-up Glasses
It was a steamy day, so I wasn’t wearing spectacles when we walked into Betty Danger’s Country Club. Imperfect vision can be a blessing.
Can’t Always Get What You Want
Cycled to Excelsior, Lake Minnetonka.1964, in a drugstore in this building, a local told Mick Jagger: “you can’t always get what you want.”
Home in the Sky
On our cycle ride, looked at the sky, a potential location for our next home.
No There There
Rode the rails to a place with no there there. Pedaled back to the city.
Skeleton of a Bridge
Rebar masqueraded as sculpture beside the Midtown Greenway. It will reinforce a bridge which replaces and replicates a century-old bridge.
Our Family
Cycled home from Downtown today, past this graffiti. Felt grateful Medicaid kicked in when my father-in-law needed it most.
A Full Bin
Once I filled The Brute with weeds, I fled on my bike to avoid seeing more yard interlopers. At least no weeds will be knee-high by the 4th.
