Nordeast Hike on Fresh Snow

Urban hike on fresh snow with a friend from the UK. We spent the day exploring postindustrial Nordeast Minneapolis.

On today’s cycle ride: repurposed brewery (Grain Belt) warehouse from Sip Coffee Bar in a former keg house.

Explored Nordeast Minneapolis, caloric Central European lunch at Kramarczuk’s Sausage Company, then home for a nap.

Paused at origami cranes, Peace Garden, near Lake Harriet, Minneapolis.

Walked past bleachers for tonight’s Aquatennial Parade. I prefer to walk than to watch people walking.

Visited a LEGO club in a former WW2 bombsight factory. Viewed complex models, and the nephews built vehicles to race.

Walked under a grey sky to the downtown library. The sun then came out and looked rather fine in the atrium.
