Scenes from a Bridge
I love this bridge. Built for rail in 1883, Stone Arch Bridge crosses the Mississippi then curves through the Mill District into downtown Minneapolis. Walked by the Mississippi on a newly reopened trail. It took two years to stabilize this small section of bank.
Pillsbury A
Walked past the Pillsbury A. In 1881 it was the world’s largest flour mill. It’s now artists’ lofts.
Storm Coming In
A storm was coming in from the west as I cycled across Stone Arch Bridge towards downtown Minneapolis.
