Finding Mouse Doors
My walk today had a point: find mouse doors. I found three.
Marcy Holmes Neighborhood
Looked at 24 bronze sculptures of old Marcy Holmes neighborhood buildings. We then found some of the buildings that are still standing.
Cream and Marzipan
Consumed a cake filled with cream and marzipan after exploring the Turnblad Mansion at the American Swedish Institute.
Making it a Full House
All but two of the fourteen counter stools were occupied when we walked into the tiny Ideal Diner for a mid-morning breakfast.

Walked beside the Mississippi past old buildings.
An Indoor 9-Mile Urban Hike
A fierce rainstorm had hit California. People had died, a reservoir was bursting at the seams, evacuations had been ordered in several counties. Walked past 19th century homes on Nicollet Island in the middle of the Mississippi, close to Downtown.
Icehenge
On my Lake of the Isles jog today: Icehenge setup. The wooden forms will be removed and the resultant ice columns illuminated by candles.
US Bank Stadium
Toured the billion dollar US Bank Stadium. I saw some of the thousands of feet of pipes for the centralized beer distribution system.
