Cycled the lakes and Mississippi this morning before the welcome rain on the skylight turned the world Impressionist.

Cycled, via Eden Prairie, to Normandale College’s Japanese Garden in Bloomington. Three Japanese gardens in one week!

Pedal seized up, replaced both pedals. If I replace any more parts I won’t be able to claim my bike is 30-years-old.

Picked up my bike from a tune-up at Midtown Bike Center.

Hot, humid day, so made a breeze by cycling from Fort Snelling to St. Paul. Explored Mendota Heights on the way back.

Breakfast at Bread and Pickle on Lake Harriet, then continued cycling past the receding floodwaters of Minnehaha Creek.
