Cycled to The 1029 in Nordeast Minneapolis for Sunday lunch: their famous lobster rolls, and Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA.

We cycled to the very source of St. Paul’s water supply

Cycled through humidity the long way round to Longfellow Grill for air conditioning and chilly Steel Toe Size Sevens.

Cycled past some of my favorite Nordeast Minneapolis buildings, including the Casket Arts Building. Artists now occupy this building.

Cycled beside the Mississippi to downtown St. Paul.

Cycled to Excelsior, Lake Minnetonka.1964, in a drugstore in this building, a local told Mick Jagger: “you can’t always get what you want.”

Rode the rails to a place with no there there. Pedaled back to the city.

Rebar masqueraded as sculpture beside the Midtown Greenway. It will reinforce a bridge which replaces and replicates a century-old bridge.

Cycled part of the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail past small towns with main streets called Main Street.
