Pondering a Wall
I like to pause at this wall when I’m out for a cycle ride. For all the modifications over the years, it conveys a sense orderliness and stability. Like an abstract painting of geometric shapes, I find it calming. The Minneapolis Water Department still operates out of this site.
Cappuccinos by a Lake
Locked up our bikes, sipped cappuccinos, looked out at Lake Harriet framed by the back wall of the bandshell stage.

The Elusive Growler
Included several breweries in our cycle ride, hoping to procure a growler. The serving window at Indeed Brewing Company was open, but, like all the other breweries, they would not be serving until later. Hop forward will have to wait for another day.

Spotted this on my cycle ride. The tower used to be part of a grain elevator. Now, it’s being incorporated into a new apartment complex. I tapped “Maanoo Da-bangan Miziwekamig” into Google and learned it’s Ojibwe. I wheeled my bicycle a little further to reveal the translation
