Planning an Afternoon Tea

Planned an old-fashioned afternoon tea in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, for family and friends.

Cycled with a friend visiting from UK. Lunch at the 1029 Bra, I mean Bar. The banner honors fallen peace officers.

My morning: calories, coffee, chat.

Our New Year’s Eve tradition: dinner with friends at Signature Café.

Walked, chatted with my best friend back to junior school. Sat, chatted with my brother and a dear family friend.

Chocolate, coffee, chat.

Lunch today in a brewery. We cycled to meet friends visiting from Oregon. Great company, great cycling, great beer.

Saturday, I drop Dwight off at MIA for his flight to MSP. I’ll spend the weekend with friends in their Naples condo.

Bringing Mario the cockerel to his new Newcastle home. An old family friend admired it, so I got it for her garden.

Spent most of the morning chatting over coffee and chocolate croissants.
