Raking Bitten Apples

Raked apples before mowing. The squirrels take one or two bites then drop them out of the tree.

Sunny a.m. = cycling southern Grand Rounds. Grey p.m. with rain in forecast = slow cooking (stock, and carnitas).

Everything is growing fast in the garden, so I did some weeding before it got too hot today.

Walked round Lake of the Isles during a pause in today’s storm. Minneapolis, City of (overflowing) Lakes.

Nursed herbs and veggies in our garden. I’ll be relying on Wedge Co-op for our produce for a few more weeks.

It was good, today, to get my hands in dirt, planting annuals. Finally, it’s warm enough: a garden teaches patience.

Went to a bricks-and-mortar store.

Today: small tasks and errands, including applying mulch. Still too soon to plant outside.

Lazy day, minor achievements. Repaired irrigation damaged by snow plow.

Had to find another perch for my bicycle: needed the car to pick up garden stuff. First time in the car in over 2 months.
