Lunch at Egg and I

Lunch, today with a good friend at Egg and I. She and I have been getting together every other week for decades.

Finally, it’s raining. Time to catch up on errands and household chores.

Red Wing today, slice of pie… after Biker Dave and I flew along the Cannon Valley Trail on our bicycles.

Seriously difficult to walk past the fridge today.

Monday morning tradition: cycle to Lake Harriett, enjoy breakfast sandwich from “Bread and Pickle.”

Will miss Japanese breakfasts. Today included: miso, smoked fish, fried squid (local), scrambled eggs, veggies, French fries, salad, rice.

C and D: Did you know sushi was invented here in Japan? You guys were experts in that Minneapolis sushi bar.

Nearest restaurant, 2 miles from guest house. Yes, it’s a truck, but you’ll find it on Google Maps.

Tuesday lunch, Oahu North Shore. Kailua Pork + Fire Rock.

Breakfast. The kim chee was good.
