On our cycle ride, we visited the 1845 Old Muskego Church, the first Norwegian Lutheran church built in the United States. In 1904 the building was moved from Wisconsin to the campus of Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul.
We chatted with a worker who was restoring rotted sections of logs on the exterior using logs rescued from an old barn built around the same time. He unlocked the front door so we could walk around the wonderful interior.
